Restoration of the lower body and the lower wings
The partial restoration of this Triumph TR3 mainly concerned the bodywork, the side sills and the lower wings of the car.
All the removable elements of the exterior bodywork have been dismantled, reformed and/or replaced.
Most of the body work consists of dismantling, cutting the lower wing cheeks and the lower bodywork. For some parts, our team was able to reform them internally. For others, however, it was necessary to obtain new parts and then adjust them.
Stripping, sanding and painting
After adjusting these parts on the body, they were stripped then treated with an epoxy primer, as well as a filler.
The whole thing was then sanded down, before applying two coats of paint in our paint booth.
Once the painting was finished, our team carried out the complete reassembly of the bodywork of this super classic car.
The Triumph TR3 is thus like new, ready to satisfy its owner who loves old cars.
