The Atelier CVDC team took charge of the almost complete restoration of this magnificent Citroën DS 21 Pallas. Marketed from 1965, the DS 21 Pallas is one of the emblems of Citroën’s DS range.
Full body repair
This model is highly sought after by collectors. It is with the greatest pleasure that our experts were able to rework this jewel in its entirety, excluding the mechanics.
For this repair, we had to completely dismantle the car and its exterior panels.
Our team then carried out airbrushing and sanding in order to completely strip the paint from this DS 21 Pallas.

There followed a long work of cutting, adjusting, forming, pointing and welding many parts of the car. We carried out the repair as follows:
- From the rear trunk
- Side stretchers
- Lower quarter panels
- Rear cross member
- Rear valance
- R+L rear fender support
- Flag belt bow
- Replacement of exterior door panels
- Interior door frame repair
- Lower wing repair
Epoxy treatment and coats of paint
Make way for the treatment of the car body. Our experts applied a first coat of epoxy, then black polyurethane to the entire body.

The body parts then received a second coat of epoxy and filler primer. Finally, a last step of sanding the parts was required before applying its original color in “beige albatross” AC 087.
To complete it all, we applied two coats of varnish to obtain a quality finish.
New quality upholstery
The Atelier CVDC team then reassembled the car in its entirety, and then installed new upholstery made by a craftsman.
This DS 21 thus benefits from a rare quality of upholstery, in order to sublimate this sumptuous, comfortable interior worthy of the original standing of this vintage car.
